SUMMARY:2nd Serbian International Sports Medicine Conference
DESCRIPTION:Respected ladies and gentlemen\, dear colleagues\, \nIn May 2015 the Serbian Institute of Sport and Sports Medicine hosted the 1st Serbian International Sports Medicine Conference with the orthopedic sports medicine hospital Aspetar from Qatar as a partner. 4 years have passed since then and now we would like to continue the tradition by organizing another event in 2019. This special event\, the 2nd Serbian International Sports Medicine Conference \, will be held from 23rd to 25st May 2019 in Belgrade\, Serbia. It will also be organized by the Serbian Institute of Sport and Sports Medicine under the patronage of the Serbian Ministry of Youth and Sport and with support of Sports Medicine Association of Serbia and International Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS). \nThis event will be a great opportunity to link most popular and actual sports medicine topics in 2019 from different scientific areas with practical guidelines for practitioners in the field of sports medicine and sport science (courses and workshops). It is widely known that sports medicine contributes to sport accomplishments\, as well as to the preservation of the overall health of athletes. This creates our joint assignment and mission which is to share and spread new discoveries and technologies\, exchange knowledge in the sphere of sports medicine and sports science. We expect over 1000 medical doctors and sports scientists from Serbia and abroad at this event. \nThe 2nd Serbian International Sports Medicine Conference will also represent a political and peace initiative that will bring together experts from all over the world and present an opportunity to develop new and enforce old ties between colleagues and countries.
